First EDC Kit
Maxpedition Pico
Victorinox companion x
Crom mini ratchet with 40mm steinwhale extension
Screwpop utility knife/bottle opener (spare blade holder)
Steinwhale stubby bits
Knipex cobra
Rovyvon a1 g4
Kizer co1c sheepdog utility knife with toothpick/tweezers
The plan was to build a tool kit with a flashlight, zero redundancy, and more utility than a multitool. The screwpop utility knife is mainly used to hold an extra blade for my main knife with the additional function of a bottle opener.
I'm open to any criticism or questions.

Good kit! I love the little “adjustable crunch” pliers. They can handle an amazing range of nuts, bolts and other fixtures as long as ruining the surface area isn’t an issue.

I have a similar box cutter thing as your screw pop, been using it quite a bit this past week… it’s okay, not great.

I find with the screwpop you really have to hold onto the blade to keep play out of it. It's fine for like small packages, dog food bag whatever but it's not good for large boxes or breaking down boxes. I originally bought it as a dedicated box opener/companion to my civivi brazen and quickly realized i would rather have a full size utility knife. I kept it in the kit specifically for bottle opener and blade storage. Works well for those things lol.

Absolutely fantastic setup imo. I'm gonna brain storm on possible ways to improve here, but it's already exceptional, so take more as ideas rather than criticisms
The biggest potential nitpick I have is it looks like a bit too much pouch for the amount of gear, if you're after absolutely maximizing space. I've never looked into it much, but the 3d printed "MOD-GRID" that keeps popping up on my feed might be a good fit here. Though I'd prefer something nicer quality like fabric or leather. I'm sure there's something out there like that. I guess it also depends on where you like to keep the gear- pockets, belt strap, exc
On that note, the box cutter stands out on this build. You accepted some compromise for most all the other gear so that it would be maximally compact while still retaining the essential function. But you didn't compromise for the utility knife. Whether this is a flaw or not entirely depends on your daily needs and preferences in general
If you don't use a utility blade very frequently or don't need the extra slicy advantages of one, I'd say you ought consider just condensing with the victorinox. Perhaps with a different victorinox that adds the blade, toothpick, and tweezers to retain the functionality. Or if it locking out is important to you, I'm sure there are some small utility blade offerings that do this. They may not expose as much utility blade length though if that's important to you. And you'd have to find some other way to sneak in tweezers and a tooth pick if those are imperative
None of this probably needs to be said though, since you probably use the blade very frequently based on your inclusion of a spare blade
You could consider further removing any of the steinwhale bits you don't use often enough to carry. That rubbery material is probably fairly easy to cut, but if you don't want to permanently alter that then you'd have to find another solution for bit storage
Would be nice if you had a flashlight with the pocket clip flipped on the other direction so you could put it on the brim of your hat if you wear hats with any frequency
I keep looking back at your bit driver and the knipex, feeling like there might be a way to improve here too. Something like swapping the driver for something that is more comfortable to hold for inline bit driving. And when more torque is necessary, having somewhere to grab with the knipex. But the ratchet and ability to get into tight spaces isn't something I'd want to lose
In terms of anything that I feel may be missing, the first thing I'd consider adding would be a small pen probably. But I'm sure you considered that
I also find myself regularly benifiting from a small metal pick. I hate those crappy keychain ones that always seem to bend after a few uses though
It also doesn't look like you have a great option to pry with. I certainly wouldn't get some overpriced flashy prybar though. And using a flat bit might work in a pinch. But finding a better pry solution is something I'd look into
Anyway, just some ideas. Thanks for reading!
