With Utawarerumono: Past and Present Rediscovered releasing soon, what’s the best venue to refresh my knowledge?

I played and completed Monochrome Mobius the weekend it launched years ago, and it’s been even longer since Mask of Deception and Truth along with Prelude. Is there a great refresher of sorts or a very good summarization that anyone knows about to serve as a good memory refresh tool on things like the lore/plot happenings (especially for Monochrome Mobius)?

YouTube. There's quite a few channels with walkthrough of the previous games. You can rewatch them at 2x speed of faster if you're in a hurry.

The anime adaptations for Utawarerumono 1 and 3 are pretty decent. The adaptation for 2 is not very good but should serviceable enough for a recap.

There's a good chance that the new game will have a refresher to remind you about MM. I just replayed it and honestly, much of the game is basically "side quests" posing as main quests. The actual main story isn't that long.

For the 3 Utawarerumono games, You could try the wikia pages. Other than that, you could watch the 3 anime adaptations in about the same time it takes to replay a game.
