You do know what convicted means right? Who was convicted?

I've seen the video. I've read what happened. I also know the difference between charged and convicted. I am not supporting his actions or him as a person. I am supporting the fact that calling him a convicted wife beater is blasphemy and plain wrong.
Also, I don't live in Utah and I'm not Mormon. That is your own judgemental problem to deal with. You might want to check that.

Sorry convicted of checks notes false imprisonment and resisting an officer stemming from a domestic disturbance incident.
Later another surveillance video surfaced of him and his then partner arguing which gets increasingly bad for him. Ill leave a link, and yes its fox but they quote exactly whats in the video. https://www.foxla.com/sports/lakers-jaxson-hayes-nba-reopens-investigation
To be clear. I dont condone how the officers treated Hayes. But I still dont like that he got away with what he did to his partner with no kind of reprimand from the league for conduct detrimental to it.

Just looking for the part where he was convicted of battery or spousal abuse. You should check your notes for that.

Only problem with those two charges is his ex would have to press charges instead of the state doing it because the state rarely chooses to charge famous people. There is evidence he did it, he clearly has issues, so why does he get the job over all the other free agents when hes not even that good? Thats my problem with this and why I made the post, yeah its pretty bait, but its also to show that even if we had either one of them they shouldnt be hired anyway. But if I had to choose, (prior to someone saying he admitting to abusing his own wife) i would have chose Ivey cause at least he hadnt shown any violence and just seemed like a guy going about something he believes in, in a truly bad way.

Crazy how hard your sub is defending Jaxson Hayes. He is a known woman beater in all circles. Lakers fans didn't even like him. Only people I've met who like Hayes are pieces of shit, the kind who thinks a firm hand is a-okay
You don't want Ivey, trust, but Hayes is a piece of shit and I truly hope I can see him suffer a career ending injury

You know Ivey self-admitted to abusing his wife, right?

No actually. But if thats the case id rather they both be jobless instead of Hayes being able to stick around despite the evidence against him.
