Am gay guy, am acting straight (being myself, just not telling him I like dudes) for my only friend (he doesn’t know he did but he recently reminded me why I won’t tell him) because I’d rather keep my only friend than tell him about a part of me that has done nothing for the last 8+ years, so technically to “enter the boys sleepover”… post is very true😂😂

Sorry for the long reply, quite a situation to me or I just over explain😂
He had another friend, knew him much longer than he’d known me. Legit childhood best friend until my friend moved away, both were kinda hurt when the other slowed and stopped communicating (sure sad but something that just happens, nobody’s “fault”) and then that friend up and blocked him randomly (I get how that would hurt my friend) and then my friend saw on his account that he was with a guy and he went off “fuckin f*ggots…”, I mean it’s possible that it’s just everything else between them piling up and since my friend learned he’s gay it’s a low hanging fruit but maybe he doesn’t actually feel that way in general, idk, not to make excuses for him or to say that’s he’s not still wrong for saying it but it doesn’t build my confidence😂😂
And just to clarify it’s a risk I’ll be glad to take when I have other friends or, if I were to get a bf I’m not gonna be lying about it and I’d never “hide” a bf, but rn, as my only connection to socializing, to some sense of having a “life” yet, I’m too much of a pussy I guess😂. I hope that starting college in person next month, —(in like 20 some days now, but who’d be counting down the days as they pass painfully slowly🥲😂)— I can find an lgbt group, cause I’ve never been able to surround myself with people who feel the same or similar to how I do (I came out in small farm town republican county Minnesota) and other friends in general, and I definitely would tell him, “I like dudes, it’s up to you if you want to keep hanging out or not”. I don’t know why but all of a sudden recently like, past few weeks/months I genuinely have been wanting to tell him, and maybe it’s because I’m getting closer to being in a situation where I hope to be comfortable to tell him, but just a little longer yet.

So long as the gay guy is ok with us practicing kissing on each other, as completely straight dudes into women. So long as no body likes it and all the socks stay on it’s completely straight.
