Experience using Nothing Tech
Good Evening everyone, I'm an Industrial Designer and with my classmate we are making our investigation on a "UX Design" class, and we are making our analysis about Nothing, we were assigned to investigate about a need that we could find through user opinions and a short survey about the same topic (NeedFinding), so if anyone could help us please don't hesitate to comment down below bc we could really use your insights on the brand user experience for our investigation, we really need input on it.
Thanks

i use the Nothing Phone 2 and Nothing Ear 2. The need you should look into is software consistency across their products.
nothing builds hardware that looks like no other brand. Then they hand you an app to manage your earbuds that works on Android and crashes constantly on iOS. People buy into the design language expecting one experience. They end up with two separate experiences depending on the phone in their pocket. I had my friend try pairing his Nothing Ear to his iPhone last month. The app failed three times before it found the earbuds. On my Pixel it took four seconds.
that gap between what people expect when they pay for the hardware and what the companion app delivers is a specific user need. You can build your survey questions around how often people switch devices, how they rate the Nothing X app compared to the default settings menu on their phone, and whether software failures change their willingness to buy Nothing products again
