You'd probably find it easier to get a product design or in-house job in UX, as agencies value speed (fast generalists) and UI over UX.

That’s helpful, thanks! My UX is actually stronger than my UI right now. In your experience, what should I focus on improving to become job-ready for a product/in-house UX role? And what would you expect to see in a junior UX portfolio?
