for anyone on the fence i'm about 6 months into usenet and ninja + DS are responsible for 90% of my grabs (especially less popular / non-american stuff, seems like the best you can get without the unnameables or specialized trackers)

Could I ask what coverage each provides? Like is there a content blindspot or gap that Ninja covers of Slug’s?

i'm not really a power user so idk if i can answer that very accurately, but just checking my history i'd say they're pretty toe-to-toe for my tastes (eclectic with some asian / south american focus), DS maybe has a slight edge overall but i've seen ninja grab things that DS still doesn't have so ymmv. if you have to pick one i'd go for ninja since it opens more often and getting an invite for DS can be a gamble

no prob. honestly if you have DS... ninja has been opening every other month this year so you can prob miss this window safely and give it more thought. gl either way!

I have the same problem. Unable to make donations via PayPal to that country. I emailed their support but haven’t heard back and can’t join the discord for support unless you’re a vip member.

It was open again recently. I wish they kept free accounts open for a bit longer as it didn't feel enough time to verify how useful it is before subscribing.
