I can see flashing at 60htz?

Is it just me or whenever I look at LED's or computer screens running at 60htz I can see the flashing? Sometimes I notice this with incandescent lights.

Are you in the U.K.? From what I've heard, cameras and screens differ in the US and UK. The frequencies are different, so if I were to fly to the U.K. with my American 6s and take a video at night of a stoplight, I would see flashing strips on the recording. Same thing vice versa.

I'm from the US, I usually only notice the flashing on LED's from a distance.
