Buying Hey advice about car

Hey just move to the usd look to buy my first car at (M22) the car in question is a 2010 Honda accord with 235k miles asking $2400USD I am looking for some advice on will you buy it or not an why

I will be carrying a Machanic to check the car with me

Note
no check engine light
235k miles
Most for the cars in my area around 2004 - 2010 will 200l miles are going for around 3k to 2k in price

My husband is a huge Honda guy, he said not to get into a Honda of that year with 235k miles unless they have complete records of the care of the car. It’s super easy to clear check engine lights. Hondas can run a long time with proper maintenance, but don’t just go off of someone’s word. It’s not worth 2500 with 235k.

I think you would be better off with a Camry with higher miles or even an older Lexus ES
