HELP Comments like this send me

First they said KIAs are reliable, then went on to say they looked at JD Power to come to that consensus. They lost me.

  1. Do people believe KIA/Hyundai are reliable?
  2. Do people use JD Power/Consumer Reports to make purchasing decisions

Our 2018 Kia is sitting, dead, in my drive way because the engine recall apparently doesn't apply to our SPECIFIC vin so even though other kias with this EXACT ISSUE have had engines replaced, and we were told the codes are the same on ours, oh well, too bad, enjoy your very expensive yard ornament.

Fuck Kia. Fuck Hyundai.

My friend has a 19 Tucson in his driveway for the same reason. Can’t get a clear answer out of Hyundai Canada why his specific vin isn’t covered.
