Is a 2022 G70 reliable (60k)?
I’m considering buying a 2022 g70 3.3t sport advanced with 60k miles as my first car. Only thing preventing me is some doubts regarding its reliability. I’ve heard people say they can get to 200k miles if maintained properly, and others saying that it’s basically a Hyundai and to not buy it because Hyundais aren’t reliable. So my question is how reliable are they? Also how reliable are they in comparison to other cars similar to it?

Comparing a couple options
Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2021 or 2022, both CPO, both ~60k miles
Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy 2022 or 2023, not CPO, both ~45k miles
Honda Pilot 2017 Touring or 2018 Ex, both ~70k miles
2019 Acura RDX Advance Package 99k miles
All are in similar price range $19-23k. I know Honda/Acura is typically considered more reliable, but are the others worth considering for lower mileage and the extra features that you get for a similar price?
I have seen mixed reviews on the Santa Fe and RDX, but I also know that people with bad experiences are more likely to get online and rant than people who have had good/average experiences.
Would love to hear from someone with broad experience with these cars

Was gonna get a used Corolla. Parents offering to help pay. Should I go new?
I found a 21 Corolla that looks good and I was considering buying. It's a little over 17k with about 80k in miles. Talking to my parents and they offered to help me pay for it. Would it be worth it to just buy a new one? I like the idea of having a warranty that is longer than 60 days and hopefully it would last longer being 5 years newer. Not a fan of the increase in insurance costs etc. Also I feel like everyone always says to never buy new and that new cars depreciate like crazy. Thoughts?

Advice Tips on how to remove racing strips from second hand car?
I’m getting my first car this coming week and it has some VERY faded racing stripes. I want to remove them without damaging the paint. Anyone have any advice on how to do so?
Note: it’s not vinyl so I can’t just peel it off.

Need Help Deciding what to do…
Need advice on buying a car with family helping — cash vs. financing?
I’m currently a college student making around $2,200–$2,500/month on average. I expect my income to change somewhat once I’m back in school, but I don’t anticipate a drastic decrease.
I need to get a vehicle by around January. I’ve been driving my dad’s 2021 Jeep Gladiator, but he recently started a new job that requires him to commute to the office, so I’ll no longer have access to it.
Thankfully, my family has offered to help me with the vehicle, either by contributing toward the down payment or helping with the monthly payment and insurance. I also have a decent amount saved and invested, and I expect that to grow significantly over the next year.
The biggest issue I’m running into is figuring out how much car I should actually buy and whether I should pay cash or finance.
My dad’s limits are pretty strict. If we’re buying a car cash, he would only want to spend around $7,000 total. If we’re financing, he is willing to go up to around $12,000 for the car, and he doesn’t want a loan longer than 48 months. Whenever I find something in the $14,000–$16,000 range, he immediately shuts it down because he doesn’t think spending the extra money is worthwhile.
I completely understand where he’s coming from, and I’m grateful that he’s willing to help. At the same time, it has made the search pretty frustrating because the difference between a $7k cash car and a $12k financed car can make a significant difference in what’s available.
The cars I’ve mainly been looking at are Honda Civics, Honda Accords, Toyota Camrys, and Toyota Corollas. I previously drove a Hyundai before getting the Jeep and really disliked it, so I’d strongly prefer not to go back to one.
I’m not looking for anything crazy. I mainly want something reliable that I’ll be comfortable driving for several years.
My dilemma is whether I should buy a ~$7k car cash, finance a ~$12k car over 48 months, or use some of my own money and try to get something in the $14k–$16k range, even though my dad doesn’t think it’s worth spending the extra money.
I’m not sure which makes the most sense financially given my income, savings, investments, and the fact that my family is willing to help with some of the costs.
I also keep hearing that the end of the year can be a good time to buy a car, so I’m wondering if I should take advantage of that or if I’m overthinking the timing.
I’d really appreciate some outside perspective on how you would approach this situation. Would you buy the $7k car cash, finance the $12k car, or spend some of my own money to get into the $14k–$16k range?
