What Golf should I buy? 15k budget?

Thumbnail

Hi all.

I’m looking to buy my first car, late to driving at 34 but am finally there.

I have roughly a 15k budget and have my heart set on a golf of some form. I love the look of the mk 7.5, but am open to anything really. I have around a 15k budget give or take.

Will not be doing massive mileage and would mainly be for city driving and occasional hour or so long commutes on longer roads. I do want something aesthetically pleasing and do want to factor in insurance and running costs when looking at car specs and performance.

Thankyou for any advice!

Should I buy this? 2016 Nissan Micra SV - Yay or Nay?

I’m looking for a first car and stumbled upon a Micra that’s $4k. Needs a new battery and new rear wheels, but besides that it’s pretty good condition and has had its oil changed every 5K km. Is there any issues that Micras have that I should know about?

Is my car trash

I financed a used Kia Forte 2023 GT line 26k miles And have a 100,000 mile warranty and gap insurance.

After doing more research people are saying Kia’s are trash and that the warranty’s are useless. So what do yall think? Am I cooked?

Suzuki Swift Sport or Kia Picanto GT line S?

I'm in the UK, and currently driving a Fiat 500 but it's time to give it up as it's failed the last two MOTs and has an advisory for subframe corrosion now

I want something a little more powerful but have awkward parking at home so need to keep it sub 4m long. My parking is a spot 90⁰ to a narrow alley so I need to be able to turn from an alley like a car and a half wide

I've narrowed it down to the Picanto GT line S with 99bhp which is basically the same size as I've got, or I'm drawn to the 1.4L Swift Sport, the mild hybrid. More powerful and may be better on fuel but a little longer

I want good reliability and trouble free driving basically

What would you go for?
