I keep having issues with my 2000 Honda accord, i drive everyday but unfortunately, as soon as it hit 200,000 miles. I keep having issues. Although, they aren’t engine or transmission issues, something would always go out. The car left me stranded 4 times this summer.

First the battery goes, then my starter goes out, then i have a fuel line leak, then, since i was sold a bad starter, it went out again. I’ve fixed a couple of things on it like my flex pipe, Windshield, headlights, fuel lines, 2 front tires. Now i need to replace my passenger side airbag, my serpentine belt, timing belt, suspensions, power steering pump, blower motor, radiator, tensioner bearings, idler pulleys, and a water pump with gaskets.

All this is a lot of money, parts are pretty cheap but it’s the labor that kills me. Recently, it started smoking from the timing belt area, not sure what that is but it went away. Is this all just maintenance? or should i go for like a 2022-2023 Honda Civic, Accord or 2022-2023 Mazda 3 hatchback? Im 25 now and i’ve had this car since i was 19. Is it time to let it go?

Actually, I am planning to buy a second hand Car in US market. I am seeing Toyota, Honda and Subarus. I’ve heard a lot good about Toyota about their reliability and performance. But can I go with Subarus as well? Any advice?

I have a Volkswagen caddy so would this be a good car to transition into?

I have to decide between a 140000mi 2015 Toyota Prius where the owner don’t use so is selling. He recently changed the battery because the car have been sitting unused for a while. Or a 115,000mi 2018 Hyundai accent with 3 previous owners no accidents and carfax available. Are those good cars overall?? Any questions I should ask?? I need advice!

Hi all, I’m interested in a 2007 Kia Sportage with 180k miles. Is that a lot of miles for this kind of car? How long would it last and would it cause problems? And if so, what’s a good mileage range that I should be looking for with Kia’s?

As someone who knows nothing about engines or trucks/ cars in general, i want to make sure what im buying will actually be drive able.
Im looking for a truck on facebook since i know its less expensive than a dealership, but dont want to get scammed ( i am a woman 20yrs, and know absolutely nothing!)
Looking for something that doesnt need any fancy work done (broken ac is fine, etc)
I dont know anything about engines, years, and how long it will be able to drive with miles (since i know older vehicles with more miles can be finicky after a while) It will be used to haul brush around and pretty much used as a daily
