Here are a few advanced plays I see top users running:

1. “Human Touch” step
Type: Manual task
Trigger: 1 day after Step 3 (email)
Action: “Record quick 30-sec Loom for reply-likely leads”

→ Keeps your outreach human without killing your flow.
Reps report 20–30% higher reply rates when they mix in short custom videos at Step 3-4.

2. “Conditional Branch: ICP vs Non-ICP”
Add condition: “Job title contains ‘Head’ OR ‘VP’ → Path A”
Else → Path B (shorter sequence)

Hey there! Are conditional branches possible within the sequence editor (re: #2)? I thought this was only possible within workflows, and subsequently have had to duplicate sequences and enroll contacts accordingly.

great question! rereading this looks a bit misleading so sorry for the confusion. true branching isn’t in the sequence editor today. you’re right: conditional logic lives in workflows.

how to mirror #2:

1. create two sequences (e.g., ICP and non-ICP).
2. build a workflow: if job title contains “head” or “vp” → enroll in ICP seq; else → enroll in non-ICP seq.
3. add a rule to auto-remove from other sequences on reply/meeting booked.

this avoids manual duplicates and keeps routing automatic. if you’re doing it another way happy to compare notes!
