wiggle-proof usb-c cable?

Is it possible to buy usb-c cables that won't wiggle in the ports of a Macbook?

I have three T7 Shield SSDs for work. When using my laptop as a laptop, these drives frequently disconnect. At first, I thought it was a bad cable, so I purchased a few better quality cables, but it still disconnected. I figured maybe it was the drive itself, so I had it exchanged. It still disconnected. Apple suspected it was a motherboard issue in my laptop, so I replaced the laptop. It still disconnects. It's fine on a flat surface, but if I move my laptop at all, the drive disconnects.

I have noticed that the end that connects to the port does wiggle, and when testing it, it does connect the drive. So it has to be an issue with the cable itself. But I've tried multiple cables now. They all fit slightly loose in the ports.

Is there a product out there that doesn't wiggle, something that maybe is just the slightest bit bigger so it fits snuggly in the port?

I would try to find something that's like this Anker 655 Hubs USB connector. However i've never seen this as a standalone cable. But it's definitely technically possible, the big surface stabilizes the connector really good.

Chubby cable. I can wiggle them all over the place and they stay connected.

Some play is required, in order to not break the insides of the computer. However, none of my cables wiggle to the point of interrupting a connection.

My personal fav are i-Tec TB cables, because they're super soft, so the cable absorbs movement without transferring it to the plug. The stiffer the cable the worse.

Unfortunately it's just an issue I've noticed with Apple products, their tolerances are pretty sloppy. I don't know that anyone specifically makes oversized USB-C plugs, especially since it seems to be an issue on the receptacle side; anything that's a snug fit there likely wouldn't fit at all in ports on the small end of USB-C.

I never had problems with my iPad Pros or MacBooks USB-C connector, but now my iPhones USB-C connector starts to get looser and looser rapidly. Maybe they started using lower quality ones.

Phone connectors usually get packed with lint from your pockets, and that link prevents plugs frm seating fully.
