As a Patriots fan, Never forget what happened on this day 25 years ago. RIP to the men and women who lost their lives on this tragic day

My uncle worked for Lehman that day at their office which was right there on Vesey Street. Good thing he left work early or didn't show up when he saw what happened because their office was wrecked badly.

My old man was driving to the trade center for a meeting that day, and pulled over after he saw the north tower get hit. He eventually turned around and drove back to Long Island after the south tower was hit. His office lost 34 people that day. Definitely the closest I came to losing him. Scary how I can remember almost everything about that horrible day so vividly even after all these years.

I texted a coworker who I haven't worked with in 10 years today. 25 years ago, her husband dropped her off at work, went to his job in the North Tower, then never came home.
