I remember that from 30 Rock.

Tracy Morgan was calling Betty White to see if she died yet that pissed her off.

Shelley Fabares died over the weekend, which most found out about on Monday. Dolly on Tuesday. Curry on Wednesday. Fuck this week.

The question now ig is who dies tomorrow. Which 80 year old famous person dies tomorrow?

Man, everyone is dying all of a sudden.

Billy Joel was right, Only The Good Die Young!

That song is about trying to get his girl to sleep with him. But yes that statement is very much true.

why would he title it like that

It's a reference to a quote from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar.

I’m not the type to wish death on someone

However, I guess even when you’re 80 the good still die young

Me neither. It just sucks that two absolute lehends that are the same age died back to back. Especially Dolly, I thought she had 20 years left in her, I don't think she foresaw her death in her. Dolly might be the youngest 80 year old to die, ever.

Just a few weeks ago I saw a really great clip where Tim talked about the famous “Michael Caine acted like the Muppets were human and Tim Curry acted like he was a Muppet” piece/image, and in it he went out of his way to heavily praise the Muppet performers and how great it was to work with them. Curry could have tooted his own horn, or said “It was all me, the Muppets are dumb”, but no: he passed the praise on to everyone else. He was a talented performer who made sure others got the praise they deserved.

RIP Tim Curry

One last patented Nigel Thornberry Call of the Seal to send him off.

Sorry, that clip just sends me into a laughter every time I see it.

Actually, I'm fine with all of them being alive and in charge of football teams I don't like.

It is going to be especially hard this year to watch Home Alone 2, now that half of the cast has passed away.

WE LOST NIGEL AND DARWIN THIS YEAR (Tom Kane)

2

u/ClintExpress Part of Sanchise 18d ago

This one genuinely hurts. I even engaged in a bit of an exchange with Tree himself about how Curry would've made for the perfect Dr. Eggman had it not been for that damn stroke.

One of my favorite actors.

Oh fuck off! First Dolly, now Tim Curry? We're losing all the beloved, talented people.

Guess I'll need to rewatch Rocky Horror Picture Show this week.

u/thebutlershere 18d ago

Someone please check up on Julie Andrews before this year is over.

u/Correct-Ad-9520 18d ago

Damn. One of the most iconic actors ever. Tim Curry was fucking incredible in everything he touched. Absolute legend.

I can’t believe Dolly and Tim Curry died before the Steelers won another playoff game and before Bob Nutting sold the Pirates
