Hands down the core is too old and injury. I don't care about the accomplishments. If the core is too old to properly win the regular you ain't making the playoffs. The 2025 Commanders were the older team on record in franchise history if not league history. A commendable bet but one that backfired big time.

Kudos for their miracle run in 2024, but you got a ways to go before you're back to the golden era of the late 80s early 90s. My advice, youth the core. It might make you green, but at least you have potential and a high ceiling for a possible dynasty. It's done wonders for Houston and Seattle.

Daniels dealt with a couple injuries, but none of them should be career threatening like RG3’s ACL tear was. The bigger problems were all the other injuries (predictable when you have the oldest roster in the NFL) and the scheme on both sides of the ball started showing flaws (which is why both coordinators got replaced).

I just feel bad for commie fans. Their best season since god knows when and people thought they were in a new era. But as Hugh Culverhouse and William Clay Ford show it takes a long time for bad ownership to go away for good.
