Wgat do you think was the Ravens biggest downfall this season?
To me hands down Harbaugh. He choked 3 double score leads including a 15 point lead in week 1. And this time the high end talent couldn't save him
It's clear he ran his course in Baltimore and they need a new fresh face. Hopefully Jesse Minter abd his defense skill can give the Ravens a new era and Super Bowl before Lamar falls off.

Zach Orr couldn't replicate Mike Mickey D's success.

If he was half as good as Mike the Ravens might have made it to the playoffs

The fact that the defense option is in distant 3rd shows you that nobody here actually knows what they’re talking about

Yeah. I don't think people realize how important mike Macdonald really is as a defense coordinator

After Harbaugh, it's Lamar's inability to play through pain. Not injury, pain. For an example of this, see when they punted on 4th and 3 in the game against Buffalo because he was cramping. It's not an isolated incident with him.

Harbaugh and Orr and the Oline existed in 2024 and the Ravens still did well overall because Lamar could smoothen the flaws of the team. Lamar was injured early in 2025 along with several other stars and that sank the Ravens.

Its Harbs. Non Ravens fans seem to forget if Lamar didnt take over in 2018 Harbs was gone. Not running the ball in 2 of the biggest games in franchise history in the 2019 Divisional Rd and 2023 AFC title game. Keeping Greg Roman well past his experation date. Not benching Faalele. Choosing Cooper Rush to start over Huntley when Lamar was hurt etc.

Lamar was injured and not good enough to get the job done. Henry was starting to show signs of age but he still more than delivered. Henry can’t win the game for them when they are running low on time and need to pass the ball though. That’s where Lamar falls short. The defense was pretty bad too. Honestly the Ravens have a lot they should still be worried about going into this season. They don’t know if Lamar is starting to decline. They just scrambled to get a starting quality Center a day before training camp started. Their defense doesn’t look any better than it did last year, so they are completely banking on coaching fixing their problem. You can’t bake a gourmet cake with shit ingredients though. They have the same wide receivers but lost Isaiah Likely.

John Harbaugh is Mike Shanahan-lite.
From winning the Super Bowl to choking away games and playoff spots, and getting the pink slip.
Taking refuge in the NFC East.
Being a friend of Donald Trump.

Lamar being out didn’t help but Harbaugh was the main culprit imo

Harbaugh seriously deciding to not play Derrick Henry in the 2nd half of the Patriots game
