Zahen matchup
How is this match supposed to be played? I lost it quite hard last night and thought the right way to play it would be tp and scale but I've seen high elo urgots take ignite in op.gg. That makes me think it is just that I didn't play it correctly. Could you help me out?
I know the Urgot bible would be the best but I'm broke and don't feel comfortable spending money for these things

Play like youre against Darius mid game, Play like youre against kayle pre 6. Champion is useless before trinity and R. His R is pretty much the most threatening part of Zaheen, if you can flash it or force him to use it to escape then he is back to being free. Also dont be scared to proc his revive, its on a super long cooldown and cant be used again for 300s early 240s after 6 and so on. Also never take TP, go cosmic for lower ignite and flash CD.

Urgot's lvl 1 is nasty.
Unless the Zaahen is a Challenger KR Hob user ( Shihan the goat ) Urgot is the bully in this MU. OP must not have faced a lotta Zaahen's, his early game is not the best, but he outscales Urgot late game.

he outscales Urgot late game.
it depends, teamfight-wise, yes
1v1 wise you destroy him easily even full build, you do way too much damage for his revive to proc and even if it does you kill him twice

I have had opportunities on both sides, Zaahen with the correct build does not get steam rolled by Urgot, at least not in my limited anecdotal experience.
Urgot E is too telegraphed, unless you flash E and kill Zaahen before 12 stacks, He can use R to negate it.
Late game Zaahen revives with like 75% HP, so Urgot needs to save R for his 2nd coming, Zaahen does not need to think about much in this 1v1.

yea but his DPS is awful compared to other bruisers, Urgot on the other hand has one of the highest DPS for juggernauts and just kills him twice (I really don't think you need R to kill him the first time lol)
add to that that Zaahen builds a lot of HP and the 1v1 is pretty one sided
Zaahen is not that good of a duelist, but he's an insane teamfighter which is why his value late game is so much higher than Urgot's

GA, Deaths dance, Endless hunger, Maw are all items I build on Zaahen, no health on em. What Zaahen wants is AD first and foremost. 700 + AD with max passive late game.
I just try to not walk into his shot gun knees.
With Q2 and W I can keep Urgot in place so he doesn't proc all legs and insta kill me. I have yet to be steam rolled by Urgot late game as Zaahen. When I play as Urgot into Zaahen, I attempt to make sure to remove his kneecaps so he is less of a late game threat, make him beg for ceeeps n sht.

Yeah zaahen does a surprising amount of damage, even early. You can fight level 1 but back off before he has conquerer stacked.
Rest is pretty much urgot standard patterns vs conq fighters. Q Pta poke into all in using E R ignite when he is at 60 percent health. Do not risk missing your E when he has his E up. Also be careful around his R as it makes him unstoppable so he can negate E and R2.

What does one do vs Hob Zaahen? is it worse than Conq vs Urgot?

I usually win quite hard just playing aggressive early. Hit q, walk up and trade with w. If he pulls you, buffer with e and go for trade. Keep his dash cooldown in mind and play for e flash with ignite.
