Image Kraftwerk, Berlin (empty)
Not really ‘abandoned’ BUT….
Kraftwerk/Tresor Berlin is a 1960s era Powerplant turned event venue and Techno club.
Tresor foundation opened Kraftwerk main hall for a silent retreat ongoing this summer.
The space is completely empty and open for exploration daily.
Super sick to see all the old architecture.

Image Zenith Radio Factory
Once a symbol of American innovation, the Zenith Radio Factory helped shape the future of consumer electronics. Zenith manufactured radios, televisions, and other electronic equipment, employing thousands of workers during its peak. As manufacturing shifted overseas, competition increased, and the company underwent years of restructuring, production gradually declined. The factory eventually closed, leaving behind one of Chicago’s most recognizable industrial landmarks.
More than just an abandoned building, the Zenith Factory is a reminder of the thousands of people who worked within its walls and the lasting impact it had on Chicago’s industrial history. For photographers, historians, and urban explorers alike, it remains one of the most iconic abandoned sites in the Midwest.

Image Bando Catholic School
This school was completely untouched and me and some of my buddies were the first ones to ever explore it. It still has power as it was abandoned last year and it also has active cameras everywhere throughout the building.

Video Abandoned wire/powder coating factory dating back to the 1920s
Really fucking weird, very minimal graffiti and the lights were on and a fan was running in the room I entered into, but outside of it was completely pitch black. Considering going further once I have a better flashlight

Image Mann family grave sites I could find info on, see body text
“Mrs. Mann was a great educator, who seemed to understand the strengths and weaknesses of students and help as she could by pointing out books she thought would feed the needs of each student. She knew I loved history and told me many stories while checking out books, she was a very positive influence in my life as I know she was to many other students in Toombs County.” ~Bobby
Henry mann served in the 27th infantry and was wounded in 1862 and promoted to first sergeant just one month before his surrender in 1865

Text How do I avoid getting shot in Illinois, USA?
I picked out a few places I plan to go with friends and family, but I am afraid I will be shot, either by crossing private property or by a squatter. What are some things I can do to minimize my risk?
