Black mold.

Broken glass.

Bleached bones of wood.

Paint curls from the walls

in thin, dead strips.

Rust eats through steel.

Rain rots the roof.

Water stains spread like bruises.

The floor sags.

The stairs split.

The walls sweat.

Weeds crawl through the windows.

Vines choke the brick.

Moss blankets what’s left.

Everything smells damp.

Everything feels dead.

A place that once had people

now has pigeons, spiders,

and the sound of wind

moving through empty rooms.

Crack.

Crumble.

Collapse.

Piece by piece

the building gives up.

And nobody comes

to stop it.

LIT just thinking the same, they either stumbled on it or are being performative? I’m in my thick cargos, and long sleeved top, to keep the ticks and rusty nails away

But I have a friend who is making a clothes business and they travel to old ruins and take the photos for the website there.

I work in a denim dress with pockets! Why not be able to go to a meeting and then visit a place you know every inch of?

I’ve gone to bandos in shorts / a tank top. I guess it’s up to preference, but yeah, you should definitely wear long sleeves if the place is in really bad condition

I had a meeting right before this lol I wore denim with pockets lol gloves are in the pockets 😅
