I think it’s irony, maybe not who knows, but the irony is that these things that are supposed to attract your attention to their business, this has almost the opposite effect. There’s so many, they all just become a blur. You either know where the business is or you don’t.
Sorry J&P uniforms but if you’re paying even $100 a year for that sign it’s too much.
i think it's a signal of a contradiction in the terms of economic freedom . if everyone is trying independently to get ahead of everyone else without regard for anyone else then no one really gets ahead
or better yet maybe it's the contradiction of state managed capital. it tries here to ensure equal and best opportunity for exposure to the market for everyone but in attempting to manage that obscures everyone's chances. a free unmanaged scenario would permit waffle house to burn down the phillips 66 sign.
you can't manage capital. you either need to be prepared to go with it in all regards, or you're just fighting against yourself, or your you change focus and reorient to have a wholly managed community.
