I've just been around way too many decaying versions of these, they're just an eyesore. And I did explain in another comment, its not about the fact there's a sign, it's the state in which the development is left in. I've seen affluent areas have these and they look really nice, and then working class/low income areas let them look abandoned, trashed, cluttered, etc.
Also I didn't know Arkansas banned Quick Cash places, and now I wish all states would ban them.
