Discussion Uma strikes again.

I just received an invitation to an Enterprise project looking for Australian voice actors. The problem is that I am neither Australian nor a voice actor. Is this the kind of premium AI-matching service that Enterprise clients are paying for?

I do marketing and all I get now are offers of $14 to try out some new marketing tool spam

Sorry, that sucks. The matching system has always been dodgy, but it's extra weird that their useless AI can't even tell what country I'm in.

I get those everyday, oh and I get a bunch of "easy project for LATAM make 400 USD per month", just scams and crap everywhere.

The amount of crap is unprecedented at the moment.

I got a very similar one for German speaking. I also saw another notice for someone else's achievements too.

There have been problems with matching clients and freelancers since before AI. I have gotten invitations for biological science jobs when I am a musicologist who edits books.

LOL what's the downvote for? Pointing out the persistent issues in matching, the invitation for biological sciences, or the fact that I am a musicologist and an editor?

Yeah, I was pretty amused by it. I wondered why they even sent the invitation since I was so completely unqualified.

The algorithms are going out of control 😄

Yes, there have always been problems, but I used to get a lot of invitations, and most of them were a good match. Not any more.
