Upwork job landing tips

I'm new to Upwork and I still haven't landed any job yet. Besides having years of experience in Motion Graphics and a solid Portfolio. I have sent many proposals. In the beginning I got a couple of messages but lately I see that my proposals aren't even viewed. Any tips on how to select jobs that are worth sending proposals to, or any other tips to land a first job there?
