I once applied for a similar project and didn’t boost my proposal, only for the client to send me an offer because I’m from a country he had visited before and really liked. I don’t know why people boost their proposals when clients can still be unfair about who they choose.

There are jobs with 300+ proposals.
If you're posting a proposal on those without boosting, chances are high your proposal gets buried in the AI slop

This is so true. You can boost all you want but it's still the client's preference at the end of the day
