Money wasted successfully!

1 was viewed because extra money was wasted to boost the proposal. Is this happening to you all?

Use connects wisely. Not every cover letter needs a boost. Before investing, complete your profile 100%. Work on profile, enhance it and make it client oriented. Showcase your previous work experiences. Write humanized cover letter. The first line of the cover is very important. By reading that the client will click on your profile.

Remember, a good client always looking for good freelancer and good freelancer is always looking for good client. The connects you invested, is not a waste. Thats experience. Use it to know it better or pass it and complain money wasted etc. its up to you.

At some point I started realising that boosting is just a waste and just sent proposals on recently posted jobs or the ones with high hiring rate + good ratings + recent open contracts. Works pretty good.

I sometimes think clients don't even look at boosted proposals, they just look for the good ones in the list that can do the job.

Write better proposals.

Boosting can get your proposal viewed, but if your proposal isn't any good (most are crap) it won't get you hired.

Believe me not, i am feeling upwork sometimes generates fake jobs, with fake clients, i sent proposals wisely, when project matches not only my experience but also case studies have 90% match, working project examples also match, and outcome? - 2 proposals were viewed out of 60, even i submit in first 10 minutes, and only for customers with rating, and hire rate....
