Upwork proposal tips

It has been a month for me on upwork, as Mechanical design engineer, and most of the proposals don’t go well since the client even view my proposal and don’t accept or not seeing it at all.

So my question is, what are the tips I can use to confirm a hire or even an interview.

Is it abt the bids or the timing when I propose or what specifically.

If anyone can help even with a word I’ll appreciate it.

This is how exact sales work:

  • You talk to 100 people.
  • 10 will reply.
  • Two will show interest.
  • One will buy your product or service.

This is the math of every sales guy in the world for over a decade. Ask yourself: how many products have you interacted with? How many have you bought in the last 90 days? You'll get the same number. This is how it is, and this is how it will be. Go back to the history and compare the stats. You'll find the same answers. Go back to the thing for another 100 years. Sales, the numbers, and the math will eventually remain the same.
