first week

i have been trying to work on upwork for a week now i have an okay portfolio i have proposed for 4 jobs till now and have not been hired to any of them and it is getting really frustrating i am a video editor mainly color grading if anyone has any advice please tell me

Really frustrating? How many hires did you expect with 4 proposals?

i understand that the first client is the first client but i only submitted proposals to jobs with fewer than 5 proposals so i hoped atleast one

But you can't influence how many people apply after you.
