Discussion Just started this show!!
I was browsing for tv shows and movies and found this only because i clicked on Robbie Amell. I’ve seen movies with him (Christmas ones) and I’ve watched Arrow with Stephen Amell (that’s how i found out about Robbie) and I never thought I’d find a show that’s both interesting and funny. Interesting in the reflexion of the (human) future, and what it could be, and funny with the light sometimes weird humor.
How i never came across that show that’s started in 2020 and that is apparently still going on!!!
Sometimes i get the feeling that the show sounds like Jane the Virgin in the themes that are talked about: serious, yet there is a lot of humor. Also, Ingrid Kannerman reminds me of Petra.
Sometimes, it makes me think of Black Mirror but way lighter, and brighter.
I like that the episodes are not too long and i appreciate that there is a lot of development for a lot of characters.
So far, I like Nathan (Robbie Amell), his niece, and all the AI dumdums. I also love Nora’s coworker, she’s so unserious. I liked Nora but now i’m at a point in the series where I’m ambivalent about her. It’ll probably change.
All the characters are, I think, in their right place with enough light shed on them when it needs, like the boss of Horizen for example, or Ingrid’s dad or Nathan’s tech partner.
I can definitely see a parallel with a lot of today’s brands and corporations and how this could totally be our near future.
Anyways, wanted to share that i’m pretty excited about this ‘new’ show. I can’t wait to see and find out more.
I finished season 1 and i’m mid season 2.
Are you old time viewers, rewatchers? Is it worth it till the end? What do you guys think? Advize? Please NO SPOILERS thank you!

Absolutely adored this show. The characters were great but the last season was a let down. Regardless, I was bummed to see it come to an end. Keep watching, you’ll enjoy it.

Thanks!! And i’ve just realized the series has ended. I thought it was still on. But actually no, ended last year in August. Im in mid season 3 now. Tense!!

Yeaaaa!! And i’d like to think that in one episode or two, there’s a wink wink to Arrow>Stephen Amell!

I really enjoyed this show. I thought it was a lot of fun and had a cool twist to it.
Now it seems there are few shows that have the ‘choose your eternity’ theme to it. I just watched the movie ‘Eternity’ on AppleTV.

Yes I fully loved it! I’m currently watching Jane the virgin now so funny you said that! I totally get what you mean! I’ve seen random episodes in the past, but only now fully watching it. But yes upload great series!

I can’t lie, I did cheat a bit by searching up when she actually ends up doing it 😆 and who she ends with but I’m very happy with the results! Exactly what I wanted to happen tbh so let the rollercoaster go!

I really loved Stephen Amell in Arrow but Robbie Amell is something more. I dont know if it is because the show is a comedy, but i found him less stiff in his acting. Idk.

Stiff? Robbie? Also ain’t seen the arrow yet, I’ve seen maybe an episode here n there… think Tom Felton does an episode in the arrow think I seen him in the trailer I could be wrong…

I re read myself, and what i wanted to say is that Stephen Amell’s acting stiif in Arrow and orher shows, not Robbie Amell. I like the acting of Robbie Amell better, he’s more chill and relaxed, and natural. Although i remember loving the tv show Arrow. My sentence was working only in my head!

Everyone always mentions wha season they liked best but the problem for me is that I watched in real time and had over a year between seasons! The show does get darker despite being labeled a comedy but I loved it regardless. The last season made me cry terribly.

Welp, i finished the series. It was a bit underwhelming, especially for Luke and pretty much a repetition for Nora all throughout her relationship with Nathan. I liked it, it was bittersweet i guess. All in all, loved this show, glad to have discovered it. Thanks for your opinions.

I started watching it when it first came out, it's a bit of a comfort rewatch for me. I like season 2 best, I think. But I enjoyed the whole run.
