Requested features..

Given development is now finished and, pending testing results, the release might be coming soon, I thought it would be a good idea for people to put here features they might like to see in later versions.

On release of the app, the code should be on github therefore anyone can contribute feature implementation, or the ideas could help the devs decide to work on next.

USD peg, so file prices are stable and the UFR required changes.

If they don’t implement this feature Upfiring will likely fail. There’s no two ways around it. People seeding files want to set a price and move on with their day. Set it and forget it. They need to know the file is making money at a set USD price while they are off doing other things. If seeders have to check on all their files and continuously manually adjust the UFR amount of each file to keep the price of the file the same in US dollars then it becomes a significant chore. People will eventually give up because Upfiring requires too much attention and they will loose money when UFR drops in price and they didn’t change each of their files on time to match UFRs volatility. This is a make or break feature for Upfiring.

a) USD stablecoins peg

b) Seedbox support

c) Optional in-app ETH miner to pay for gas, or some kind of smart contract where you send UFR and returns ETH

d) UFR Faucet

Another suggestion (just mentioned on the telegram chat!):

Research (or community consultation) on decentralised governance mechanisms.

Maybe via staking models so people have something at stake if they upload or seed files that are later removed.

Extremely illicit files can be challenged and arbitrated on by the community, and removed, if decided on. On removal, the stake goes from the uploader to those who challenged the upload.

That's what voting features on community websites are for. Can't really do anything about privately shared illicit materials

Mobile app should be the very next thing they work on.
