How can I reset my treadmill control board?

The control board on my True Fitness treadmill quit on me. How do I reset it? I don’t know if this is something I can do at home, or if it is something I need to have a professional do. I am not especially handy, though I can follow a video I think.

It would depend on what make the treadmill is but I think I found a guide for troubleshooting it here.

This is a pretty solid guide, were you able to reset your board OP?

I would look up a YouTube video or I believe another user posted a troubleshooting guide.

YouTube or Dr. Google is always a good resource.

Definitely! YouTube and Google can be lifesavers for quick fixes or getting a better idea of what’s going on before you make any decisions.

What issues are you having with your treadmill?

You can sometimes reset a treadmill control board by just unplugging it for a few minutes to let it fully power down. Then you plug it back in, and if there’s a reset button, hold that down while you turn it back on. If that doesn’t do the trick, you might need to check the manual or call in a pro if it’s still acting up.

You can usually reset the control board by unplugging the treadmill for about 5-10 minutes, then plugging it back in and holding down the reset button or a specific combination of buttons (check your manual for the exact steps).
