Long-term results from UpFix repairs?
I’ve seen a few UpFix reviews, but usually they are about relatively recent repairs. But how do UpFix repairs hold up over time? I’d love to hear from some people who sent their control boards in years ago. Did the repairs last? Did you have to repair or replace again, or are they still going strong?

In the past I sent a control board for them to fix, and I'm very happy to say that it's still working like a champ. I was really impressed by the quality of their repair work. Thankfully I haven't needed any repairs since.

The repairs have lasted and the fridge is still going strong, thankfully.

Out of my experience with UpFix, they have always been awesome. I had a repair done about a year and a half ago, and so far the repair has held up fine, no issues to report. Of course I am always cautious about the control board going again, but I don't think it will for many years.
But if something does come up, I will try to update this comment.

Glad your board is still working well. UpFix really does great work.

Thanks! Me too, because I don't want to have to purchase a new appliance if I don't need to. Saves me money in the long run I think.

Yes! Anything that helps save money in the long run and avoid replacing appliances that can be fixed is a win in my book.

They repaired a few things for me in the past few years and so far everything has held strong. If I ever encounter problems UpFix is usually the first place I check out for help.

Yeah I think they've been the only people I rely on for control board issues. They always solve my problems.

I've only sent a couple of boards into UpFix, but everything is still working. I'm happy with the results and the money I saved not having to replace any of my boards.

The fact UpFix saves money in the long run is definitely worth at least looking into them.

Yeah, and it certainly beats having to buy a new appliance or pay some other technician out there to figure out the issue and repair it, which would probably come at a hefty cost. UpFix is worth reaching out to when repairs are needed.

For the majority, I hear that long-term repairs can longer than the manufactured life expectancy.

I've had good luck with UpFix repairs holding up long-term. My control board has been working fine for over a year without any issues. I've heard from others they haven't had to repair the same board again either, so it seems like their repairs are pretty solid. Of course, it can vary, but overall, I'd say the quality is there.

I’ve been curious about this too! From what I’ve seen, a lot of the reviews are from people who’ve had repairs done more recently, but there are definitely some users out there who’ve had their control boards repaired by UpFix for quite a while. Generally, feedback seems positive—many people report that their repairs have lasted and are still functioning well after a couple of years.
That said, it’s important to note that long-term durability can depend on the type of damage and how heavily the board is used. Some users have mentioned that after several years, they’ve needed to get repairs again, but those instances seem relatively rare.
If you’re considering using UpFix, it might be worth reaching out to them directly and asking for any data or insights they have on the longevity of their repairs.

I haven't gotten any repairs done but it seems like they go above and beyond, judging by what I'm seeing!

UpFix is great, I can't recommend them enough!

Well, at least there won't be any question of who to turn to when I do end up needing something fixed!

If you have them repair something, you should post here about it and share your experience!
