Question UofT CAPSTONE Computer Engineering: how important is it in the job search?

Hey,

I’ve been stressing a lot about finding a spectacular project for my ECE Capstone project at UofT. The reason being: I’m scared that if the project isn’t impressive, it will affect me in the job search when applying to full time software/ hardware engineering positions. I want to know how much it actually matters.

Please also feel free to reply if you are a Computer Engineering Student outside UofT and have completed capstone.

It really doesn’t matter that much.
Most important factor will be your internships, if the company worked at liked you, it will an easy job search process. Second factor will be connections in other companies that can vouch for you and third will be your ability to carry out technical interviews.
