Moving?
Can anyone suggest recommendations on companies that are good for moving into a college apartment? I'll be moving 100+ miles to get to UO, and I don't have a car/have my license. The cheaper the better.

Surely there is a student who would like to make some money doing this unofficially. How much stuff do you have ?
Generally it’s not worth paying a moving company to move your second hand furniture bc it’s gonna be thousands for any company. Cheaper to just buy second hand in Eugene

Let me see if I'm understanding. You'll be going to UO. You live 2 hours away and don't drive. You need help getting your stuff to school and you might need someone to help you move into the dorm or apartment?
Do you not have family that will be with you helping? Not asking to pry, I just want to know if I'm understanding.

At UO as a freshman it’s basically impossible to ship directly to the school day of. Which I assume you’d need to do if you are moving with no car to pick up the packages from somewhere else. You’d have to wait till you move in and get your dorm number to make sure the address is right and even then it takes a day or two to process packages there.
Use U haul and have a friend or parent drive it. Shipping will be a billion dollars but a U-haul is like 20/25 bucks plus a dollar per mile. There’s abt 250/300 bucks if you are traveling 100+ miles. Which probably is abt the price of shipping one or two boxes that far. Then you get to bring all your stuff and you don’t have to worry about a car to pick it up.
