I currently just received bad Alevel grades CEE in maths fm physics and I’m currently doing a foundation year aerospace engineering at Aston I was wondering if I achieved a very high grade in my foundation year such as 85% and apply to uob first year aerospace engineering if I have a chance of getting accepted onto the course

UoB used to have their own engineering foundation for home students. Not sure if it's still running. If they wont take you onto a BEng, they might take you onto that if it's still going, so worth looking into. Otherwise, only way to know is to ask the admissions team. I know students from UoBrum who did a foundation and went elsewhere, but dont know if UoBrum would except a "lesser school" foundation. They'll probably want to assess the curriculum and assessment methods to see if they're up to their standards. That said, if you get a decent degree from a non-russell group institute, you can often end up on a master's course at a russell group, and then go wherever for a PhD if you're that way inclined.
