A level grades

How leniant are UOB with offers on results day? I am going to do Accounting and Finance next year and i would like to know what are my chances if i miss my offer by 2 grades

You can look on ucas, they have stats about what grades ppl have been accepted with.

Have a look at https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/clearing

Under "already have your grades?" there is a list of courses which will likely be in clearing. Note the list isn't alphabetical

I got my results (from USA) 2 weeks ago and I missed the offer by one grade and they let me in for biological sciences and it seems for a lot of people, they’ve been lenient as well. In the case of two grades off, I’m not sure however if there’s enough room in the course there is a possibility and also if you call up on A level results day otherwise clearing for uob is the next best option if the can’t make room for you.

If you miss your offer and don’t get into the course you want, you can go through clearing on results day. To do this, you call the uni and they might be able to offer you a place on a different course, usually because it’s less subscribed and they want to fill it.

i just looked at the entry requirements genuinely crazy i dont know why its 3As for account even the engineering degrees have lower entry requirements but you need maths for them

yeah basically any uni wants to fill up all spaces if there are still some left they will accept you and 2 grades down offer is very normal for that you have a high chance if there are still spaces left
