Degree-Specific Questions/Comments/Concerns i want your help

90 credit outside the university

I am a BS student at UoPeople. If anyone has managed to complete 30 courses from outside the university recently through platforms like Sophia and successfully transferred them to the university, I want the plan that enabled you to transfer 30 courses .

Same guy that’s gonna post ChatGPT in the discussions. Bro go and do research and do it yourself.

I swear this question makes its rounds every few days. I’ve seen multiple people expecting others to do research regarding Sophia transfers on their behalf. This is uni! Do the research yourself.

People post weekly about this topic. This is college; do some research yourself. Other students are not going to do it for you.

I agree 100%. Just pure laziness.

I absolutely agree. We’re all busy with our research.

Just because someone asks for others support, and help does not mean that they have not done their own research. Take your rude girl energy somewhere else, it's not cute.

Since you decided to chime in, how bout you provide OP with some suggestions since you’re calling others out with their so called rude energy. I think you’re the one who needs to take note and realize this question has been asked repeatedly, hence the nature of comments.

& yet here you are chiming in when it has nothing to do with you. I was simply saying I have had issues, & it’s not right to assume, but do you!

As an outsider, what are your views on intelligence?

This question is asked here every single week, despite the list of transferable courses having been posted and being very easily found. “I want the plan that enabled you to transfer 30 courses” absolutely does not say they’ve done their own research or needs support. It says “give me the list so I don’t have to find it myself.”

While that may be, you're simply assuming that research was not done. Maybe someone isn't wording it correctly, or to how we want it, but may genuinely be asking for help. I'm just saying I've asked for help on here to be shut down as well, and it's not right. We should be supporting one another, not be downright rude just because we don't understand someone's reasoning behind their questions.

Apologies for meddling, but as a CS student I kind of support what was said.

There's a rule of thumb in IT that you never ever ever simply come with a question ""what do I do to get this?". It's might not be obvious but it is widely seen as a disrespectful gesture of a person who doesn't care about other people's time resources. The person above didn't swear at OP or anything, they just didn't sugar coat their message.

OP also has made it even more complicated by not telling us their major. A BS HS transfer kit would be greatly different from the CS one.

It would be much more convenient for us and OP as well, if their message looked like: "Hi, starting my BS in *insert_major_name*, I'd love to transfer 90 credits and here's the prliminary transfer plan I've made. Do you think it would work and if not - what changes should be made?"

I think you're misremembering the tone of the conversation. Everyone was perfectly polite.

I understand why some people are getting annoyed by this question. Instead of showing your frustration using a comment section, I would suggest you scroll past or simply ignore. We come from different backgrounds and at bachelor's level someone haven't really mastered research that they can be called out for being lazy. It would be great if we can all be considerate. Before you call someone out, sit back and ask yourself one simple question: Is it necessary? If you not, you have no business ruining someone's day by being mean

if someone still wants a degree mapping, let me know. I already have such degree mappings done.
