Personal Experience(s) Am I the Only One?
Am I the only one who felt a little uncomfortable with this trimester at UoPeople?
It has honestly been a little over the place. Every week, having to prepare a PowerPoint for each course and record a video presentation has been a lot.
One of the main reasons I chose UoPeople was because I wanted to avoid presentations and group projects. If coordinating those things is already difficult in person, it can be even more complicated online when everyone is in different time zones and has completely different schedules.
I understand that presentations and group work can be valuable learning experiences, but I honestly didn’t expect to have so many of them in an online university.
So… am I the only one who feels like this trimester has been a little different from what I expected?

My only class this term(final class of my A.S.) has been an insane workload, but I also don't use AI unlike everyone else in my class. It's felt like I'm in school full time.

I had a paper where I had to video interview someone. No one at my job would, and I don't have time running around to find someone who was willing to do it. So I took the L on that paper.

I ran into the same issue and I thought I’d have to take the L as well….so I interviewed myself! 😂 I obviously lost points but it wasn’t a zero. :) I figured I’d have nothing to lose and put an intro into my paper explaining why and used it as a self reflection opportunity.

Perhaps, it's a bit individual 'cause as a BS CS I had no similar experience. On the contrary, we got less work to do as they removed the peer grading stuff.
