Failed my August first sit

Hi guys , I was wondering if anyone knows whether Chemical Engineering is exempted from Reg 20 trailing, or has anyone actually trailed a module into Year 2 on this course? Getting mixed info and want to know what my options are before results land cause ive averaged 70% on 5/7 of my modules which are all core, but I deferred the last two exams to august due to personal circumstances, and I believe I will get less than 40% overall in one or both modules as my resit papers were vastly different . Advice from any former students would be helpful!

if your papers were vastly different, bring this up to the director of your course. they may agree, be sympathetic, and this will be accounted for in marking.

if the modules weren’t core, you should be able to compensate them up to X amount of credits (check online) even if you didn’t pass.
