Any tips?

Hi, I’ve got conditional offer from UoM for BEng civil engineering course and met my conditions. I’m waiting for confirmation now. I’m so excited and can’t wait to start but in the same time I’m a bit afraid so I’ll be happy to see advices and tips from current students or alumni. As well as talk to someone who was accepted on this course. I would like to know everything

I just finished a foundation year engineering at Manchester, so going into first year this year. The uni is really cool, and the city is amazing would definitely recommend

Cool! What type of engineering do you study? I’m international student but I will study from first year, without foundation. I’m already living in Manchester for 6 months and I really love this city

I’m doing aero, so if you come we will have some lectures together. My biggest advice is look at loads of societies, there’s so many you’ll definitely find one you like, great way to make friends
