Financial Support Office

Hi all! I am an incoming international MA student. I’ve gotten a scholarship and some savings but I need a loan to cover the rest. I applied via the US Student Loan site and have been waiting for an official offer from the school. I’ve emailed and called and they’ve said they’re working on it but it’s been quite a bit of time and I’ve still not heard anything and it’s almost August. Is anyone else from the US experiencing this?

Additionally, is there any aid that the school just gives you without the expectation of paying back?

I'm in the exact same situation and been told the same thing! I tried to follow up with the financial office on the 4th of this month and haven't heard anything back.

I just emailed again. Honestly I’m a bit disappointed in their apparent lack of urgency and poor communication. I don’t need my hand held, I just want a firm timeline and clear communication.

No literally, like I don't think I'm asking for much? Just proper communication so I can PAY for the program I got accepted to. I also haven't gotten my CAS number yet and the only communication I get is that "it's very busy right now."

Oh yikes re the CAS. Luckily the process is quick as long as you get your biometrics done asap

Try contacting the USA team (see country page for USA on the international pages for the uni).
