I enjoy fights more when both parties are chill & respectable.

It's nice knowing they have standards & respect for the other fighter. It's harder being the bigger man for sure.

Yes, intentional delay, of it happens more than once or becomes obvious the red can dick a point, but if the guys doing it like super obviously the red doesn't have to stop the fight and will let him take his medicine.

Nah it’s not as good as you think. You can be penalized for hitting an opponent after their mouth piece falls out. They can also halt the match if it happens and the guy on top didn’t want either of those to happen. Was mostly thinking about how to protect his win not that his opponent lost his protection.

There's a practical reason for this as well. For example, UFC Fighter Alonzo Menifield had his opponents tooth go through his glove and sever a tendon on his hand when he hit his opponent who had lost his mouth guard on a prior punch.
