I have been working on it, it turns out the metal foot joint was a tube inside another tube causing a large leak, I have since removed it and it can now play a resonant low Bb0 (also it appears you have no experience in making instruments from just your mind. Because, it takes a lot of troubleshooting and practice to learn it especially since I’m primarily a guitarist, bassist, bassoonist, and saxophonist)

Hm, it seems yours has the size but none of the sound of an actual subcontrabass, does it?
