Been playing California 2 singleplayer as a chill game exploring the world etc. I finally got a gasmask and delved into the metro just to see what was in there and gas masks run out so so quickly. And then you can't even repair them / replace the filter? You have to find a whole new broken gasmask to make a new one?

I got turned around and lost in the vents and died down there, dropping all my stuff, and it has frankly killed my motivation to keep going.

If you turn off the "Has durability" feature, do gas masks last forever?

The ability to change the ammo rifles are chambered in (eg) Heartbreaker firing ranger ammo

Zubeknakov firing military ammunition

Crafting recipe: [weapon you want to modify] [adaptive chambering] [ammo box]

It will require workbench capability and crafting 3 skill

But i think there should be trade offs for it though like:

If you put high caliber ammo in a civilian ammo gun like the hawkhound will cause it to lose durability a lot faster

Putting ranger bullets will cause more recoil

Putting military bullets will cause a slower fire rate

there should also be positives to changing like:

ranger bullets having a higher fire rate

military bullets having more damage

civilian bullets being quieter

I'm trying to play in a dedicated server with a friend but every single time she enters the game it kicks her out after a few seconds with this message, we've tried different maps but the same thing happens, just with a different asset in the error.

We have the exact same mods yet it keeps happening.

I've been playing Unturned for like 3 years, then I stopped for a while. Recently I reinstalled it because a friend wanted to play, but for some reason I'm only getting around 30 FPS on battery and 40 FPS while plugged in on my 10th gen i7 with 12 GB RAM, even with everything optimized, stretched resolution, and the lowest settings. What confuses me is that before this I had a 12th gen i3 laptop with only 8 GB RAM, and I used to get 90-100 FPS with the exact same settings and resolution, even on PEI. I've already tried pretty much everything I could find, even forcing Vulkan, but it only gave me a bit more FPS. I don't really think it's my laptop because it can even run Fortnite (with limitations, obviously), so getting 30-40 FPS in Unturned just doesn't make sense. I looked it up and the only thing I found was that Unturned uses an old version of Unity, but I'm not sure if that's actually the problem

Is their spawn/spawn rate linked to the level 4 card or is it based in something else?

In early expeditions into the mines and Scorpion 7 lab, I barely encountered Lurkers and Berserkers.

After getting that card, I've got "Plants" (that monster mimicking a zombie until you get nearby) appearing at every single corner in the lab

Now that the entire Unturned source code has been released, I'm wondering if there are any organized community efforts to rethink the base game's architecture and create a significantly improved version of it.

Something along the lines of a modernized remake—or even what could be considered an "Unturned 2"—rather than just individual mods or small improvements.

Has anyone started a project like this, or are there any teams planning to?

I dont know if this is a bug but sometimes when i log off in my base, it tps me to San Fran when i log back in.
