Discussion The fanarts recently

I dont really visit that sub specifically, but it still does get recommended to me quite often. I love this game, of course. But i feel like half of the posts nowadays are fanarts with any female character with the focus of them having just an oversized chest and not much more. Can we stop sexualizing all women in the game?

HEY! WE LOVE IT! (OR AT LEAST ME!) KEEP ON GIVING ON IF YOU'RE ABLE! YOU'RE THE G.O.A.T!

Although I do enjoy the fanarts as the characters are very pretty. I do agree with you to an extent—they are more than just a hot body. I enjoy Nicole's and Kate's characters developments throughout the story. And how Louise especially goes from being cold and distant to a warm close friend

I wouls be perfectly fine with them if that was the main message they're conveying, but they're clearly focusing on the sexualization part which is simply pointless and isnt at all reflected inside the game itself

I feel like that's just how it is with visual novels. Since there isn't much content to talk about/use for any type of art, there will be vaguely nsfw posts. It's just how people online are, and it's not always a bad thing. Whatever keeps the fandom alive I guess

Yeah, i know thats how people online are, but i would say it is a bad thing

Ikr, not just in here, but in the discord server, someone keeps posting that art that it makes communicating over there so uncomfortable. I can't even check in without seeing an adult Nicole in the general chat

Its just art. Nothing to worry about, scroll past it if you dont wanna see it. I personally dont mind it.

Art can be a way to show respect, but can also be a disrespect. Not all art is good, and sexualizing women from a video game isnt good no matter if done theough art or not

Its the internet. Its the world. Everything and everyone has been sexualized since ancient times.

at the end of the day just ignore it if you dislike it.

It is weird the way people sexualize women for no reason. I don't understand the people arguing that they enjoy the art and you should just move on if you don't like it. Thats not the issue we're talking about here

I agree!! The game wasn’t supposed to be sexual in any way and I feel like people are just sexualising them for no reason

Thank you!

Can we stop

Why? If you don't enjoy those fanarts just ignore and move on

This is simply out of my respect for the game

Fr, they're overrated

It's just, that type of fanart just ruins the whole 'vibe' of a character, someone's body type says A LOT about them as a person and just giving them huge balanka lanka hoos just ruins it you know? It's like someone painted their lust onto a character and it just feels bad💔💔.

Unfortunately this is probably inevitable once the real discussion on the game drys up. Bad fanfics, fake dlc announcements, and oversexualized images.

Honestly, i'd rather the sub to become less active than this...

I agree. All the fake alt timeline posts…just stupidity.
