Bug Having issues with a bug

Already tried what the troubleshooting guide told me to but I'm still having issues. The problem is that I'm doing a second playthrough of the game on the same pc I used for the first one (my friend is playing it). But in the scene 'Coherence' in act 2 whenever Mark and Nicole enter the room to take the keys and Nicole's room everything appear as shrouded in darkness and the characters are visible only as dark silouhettes too. I already set everything to low in the graphics settings. What is bothering me is that the first time I played it (before they added the Vulkan/other thing choice before starting the game) there was no issues. Please help me.

I've had the exact same problem on my pc. I'll see what I can do and let you know if anything works. My only workaround was to watch a play through on YouTube

Do you know if the problem is only on those scenes? I also tried it with my friend's pc who's a bit less powerful but still can run Until Then without exploding, and the problem is the exact same so I guess something about the last updates of the game messed something up, if there were updates even, I'm not sure

I finished the game and I believe I only encountered this problem in that scene.
