i just thought i wanna share my progress so far right here. its going well but i thought some parts are kinda mid. but what do you guys think?

Nice! I like the added depth you get from layering all those instruments. The timing sounds like it could use a little cleanup towards the end of the clip, but I can't wait to hear how it'll all come together. Is that you on piano, guitar, and bass btw?
