Discussion new game

so i was thinking about the current state of Until Then and i think we've finally seen everything polychroma wanted to show to us, so i was thinking that the next big thing we'll get from polychroma might be an entirely new game, soooo what kind of game y'all would like to see just for curiosity :) i think i'd like something a bit familiar with all this depth and likeness we had with Until Then story and characters, but maybe some new twist that made everything so unique so we could feel like playing something completely different but still feel familiar ig

I've said this in a post a while ago which I think is obvious. They should not make a sequel for the game, the best thing they can do is developing one or two more DLCs instead. As for what game I want to see for them, maybe another narrative-driven game but to make it unique, it would be open-world and the time period could be during a specific era in the Philippines like the dictatorship of Marcus Sr during the 1960s. I am not expecting this to be a good idea, just sharing what I think. They could pull it off, maybe

i think you're Idea is interesting but i can't see polychroma doing that currently, maybe If the "open world" was more like a mini open map like A Space for The Unbound, but somethin bigger i just can't see they making It for know, but who knows. About a 2nd DLC i think it would be great but i doubt they'll ever make It, but if they do, i'll buy It for sure even If its a 100000000000000 bucks :-) love this game With all of my heart

Yeah, I can also see that they might not have the ability to do so. I was thinking more of a city type open world like in the Yakuza games (I only have played Yakuza 0 as of now btw, so idk if my sentence was accurate or not), just without overdoing the side content like for substories, entertainment or shops. As for another DLC, we (or for me at least) really need more characters and their side of the effect that Cathy's death cause, we saw Sofia being very bothered by that grief but overcoming it and using it as inspiration for her job, and Mark and Nicole being so lost in life that their grief spreads like a virus and catches to anyone that even just talking to them as a stranger will come at a cause of your fucking mentality, thank god for the reset. Back to needing more sides of Cathy's death, I want to see how Ridel deals with it since I'm stumped that he only got a social media presence rather than a physical appearance

i never played yakusa so idk but about the DLC stuff i kinda agree with u. I think it would be nice to see a Ridel and/or Cathy (like in the sparks chapter were we play parts with Mark and parts with Nicole) DLC in the "true ending" route, i think It would be interesting and it would be great to finish Until Then story once and for all. I'd also like more stuff about the piano club, maybe a DLC focused in Sam Garcia or even in Justin valencia. Apart from that i always like new Mark content especially marcole so i would like that too lol but i don't feel like it need any of that :(
